His Mercy Is New Every Morning

Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassion's fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!" Lamentations 3:22-24 

It is so easy to get consumed with the cares of this world, but our hope is not in this world. Our hope is in the one to come. When we take our eyes off of Christ and look at our situation we will lose hope. People in this world are becoming more calloused and hardened to the core of Christianity and that is Christ. So the more we become like Christ the more persecution we will face. We must press into Christ and rely on His unfailing love and mercy to preform the work He has started in us.

Eli lying in his bed playing at 6:00am saying Mama and Dada...

Sam waddling into the living room in his underwear, his little belly button sticking out, and his sweet morning breath...

Lily sitting at the table in her tinker bell gown, red glasses, reading about Joseph....  

My morning coffee...

Waking up in my right mind, healthy, and loved....

Hearing Lily read in her diary how much she loves me and her daddy...

Mercy is new this morning....I am forgiven...Loved....and cherished by the Lord of Heaven....
